Gorillas, Camels, & Goats, Oh my!

I've been wanting to go to the zoo ever since I bought our membership about 2 months ago.. yeah, that purchase was on a whim! Everytime the weather has gotten nice, something has come up that kept us from driving to Louisville - 1 hour trip. Well, I've been checkin out the forecast all week.. and finally a sunny day in the mid to upper sixties and low winds. Scott has a super busy schedule, but somehow I managed to get him to come along. (I promised he could work the rest of the week and Saturday).

We did not stay a super long time, since we plan on going back to make our year long membership useful. Here is daddy and Bella in the parking lot. (Nice sunglasses!)

And the UGLIEST GOAT/SHEEP? that you will ever see. It looks like those photoshop pics of putting a persons facial features on an animal. Nice teeth...

So a fun afternoon at the zoo. We will be back! --- hopefully... to use that membership!
