Christmas Festivities

Time for some Christmas pictures!! We had a wonderful time spending Christmas with my family this year. It was the first time that the cousins really got to enjoy each other. Ellie and Carter are 18 months and are adding to their vocabulary daily. Right here they are both playing with angels - putting them in and out of the little houses. Bella was enjoying the scene from the background.

One morning Carter woke up and saw the Tiger outfit. He loves tigers (I think his daddy has bred him as a Missouri Tiger..). When asked if he wanted to put it on, at first he said no, then he decided it sounded fun.

Aunt Amy with Bella one morning.

Christmas Eve before we headed out to the service.. I showed Bella this story-telling bear. She got a big kick out of it.

We tried to get a nice family picture too...

Christmas morning.. Ellie and Carter got matching horses. Nehh.. It was so cute to watch them warm up to the creatures. At first they just sat there, but then, Ellie and Carter realized that they could rock back and forth. It was a hit.

Bella's favorite toy on Christmas morning.. Brobbie.. it sings and dances. We might post a little video of her enjoyment of him.

The day after Christmas we were able to stop by and see the Schilb's. Randy, Scott's uncle, only lives a couple houses down from my family and convienently, they were having Christmas there this year. As Aunt Jill said - "who put coffee in Bella's bottle??"

And a refreshing time of getting to see long lost friends. Bonnie (back from Korea for Christmas)

and Debbie - once again.. coffee eyes for Bella

Things not pictures for the Christmas week... all three dogs stealing food from the babies trays. Libby eating Ellie's pacifiers. Playing Guitar Hero on my dad's new PS3 - drums, guitar, bass, voice, and all - scott was addicted we might say. Almost everyone getting some sort of illness (Bella arrived on the scene with RSV, passed it along to Ellie.. Carter had a fever one night - maybe from teething, my dad and I ended up with a stomach bug, John showed up with no voice and left with the stomach bug, Amy is pregnant and had morning sickness and we think maybe the stomach bug, and Scott had a nice bought of congestion.)
Needless-to-say by the end of the week no one wanted to come to our house. We even had to cancel the Christmas get-together with my mom's side of the family. I think everyone is well now though, thankfully!
